Role Description: - A medical officer tele underwriter for health insurance analyzes medical risks and performs tele-underwriting to evaluate applications for coverage:
- Analyse medical risks: Evaluate medical history, pre-existing conditions, and other medical information to assess the risk of insuring an applicant
- Perform tele-underwriting: Conduct telemedical interviews and gather clinical information
- Determine premiums: Calculate premiums based on the applicant's risk assessment
- Make recommendations: Provide recommendations on risks beyond authority
- Collaborate with others: Consult with agents and insurance processors about final decisions
- Maintain customer service: Foster strong business relationships with brokers and stakeholders
