Role Description

• A medical officer tele underwriter for health insurance analyzes medical risks and performs tele-underwriting to evaluate applications for coverage.
• Analyse medical risks: Evaluate medical history, pre-existing conditions, and other medical information to assess the risk of insuring an applicant.
• Perform tele-underwriting: Conduct telemedical interviews and gather clinical information.
• Determine premiums: Calculate premiums based on the applicant's risk assessment.
• Make recommendations: Provide recommendations on risks beyond authority.
• Collaborate with others: Consult with agents and insurance processors about final decisions.
• Maintain customer service: Foster strong business relationships with brokers and stakeholders.
