<ul><li>Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill patients admitted to the ICU.</li><li>Monitor patients' conditions closely, including vital signs, laboratory results, and responses to treatment.</li><li>Provide advanced life support and emergency interventions as necessary.</li><li>Perform and supervise invasive procedures essential for critical care, such as central venous catheterization, arterial line insertion, and endotracheal intubation.</li><li>Manage mechanical ventilation settings and monitor ventilator parameters to optimize patient respiratory support.</li><li>Make timely and informed decisions regarding patient management, treatment plans, and escalation of care.</li><li>Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies relevant to critical care, including arterial blood gases, ECGs, and radiographic images.</li><li>Prescribe and administer medications and intravenous therapies specific to critical care, including vasoactive agents, sedatives, and antibiotics.</li><li>Monitor medication effects, adjust dosages, and manage potential adverse reactions.</li></ul>
