Description

Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests, to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
Provide primary care services, including health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic illnesses, in outpatient clinic settings.
Manage medical emergencies and provide urgent care services, including resuscitation, stabilization, and treatment of critically ill or injured patients in emergency department settings.
Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and interpret laboratory results to formulate appropriate treatment plans and medication management strategies.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including nurses, allied health professionals, specialists, and support staff, to coordinate patient care, referrals, and follow-up services.
Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment options, medication adherence, and preventive health measures to promote self-management and wellness.
Document patient encounters, medical histories, physical examinations, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR) or medical records systems.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and patient safety programs to enhance the quality of care, patient outcomes, and service delivery within the healthcare organization.
Adhere to ethical principles, medical standards, and regulatory requirements in medical practice, including patient confidentiality, informed consent, and professional conduct.
