Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations, diagnose illnesses, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests, X-rays, and ECGs, to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
- Prescribe medications and other appropriate treatments in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
- Monitor patients' progress and response to treatment, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive care measures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to discuss complex cases and develop comprehensive care plans.
- Stay current with advances in medical knowledge, technology, and treatment modalities through continuing medical education and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD/DNB) in Medicine from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical license to practice in Gujarat, India.
- Minimum of [insert number of years] years of clinical experience as a Medical Doctor, preferably in a hospital or clinic setting.
