Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • MBBS Doctor - Metabolic Health & Patient Care
  • Address: ReDial Clinic, Green Park Extension, New Delhi.
  • Full-Time On-Site
  • Role Type - Full-Time | On-Site
  • Working Hours - 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Monday to Saturday
  • Mandatory Qualification - MBBS | Valid MCI / State Medical Council Registration
  • Experience: 2+ Years | Preference for patient-facing experience in metabolic conditions — Diabetes, Hypertension, Obesity, PCOS, or related disorders

Domain Preference:

  • Prior exposure to metabolic disorders (T2D, Hypertension, PCOS, Obesity) preferred — not mandatory

Primary Function:

  • Lead patient consultations and reviews across medical, dietary, and fitness dimensions; direct the Nutritionist and Fitness Coach under a unified clinical plan

Reports To:

  • Dr. Gagandeep Singh — Clinical Lead

Position Overview

  • We are looking for an MBBS doctor to join the clinical team at ReDial Clinic. The role calls for a minimum of 2 years of post-MBBS clinical experience, with preference for candidates who have worked with patients presenting with metabolic conditions — Diabetes, Hypertension, Obesity, PCOS, or related disorders.
  • This is not a conventional OPD or prescriptive role. The doctor owns the full patient review — medical intervention, dietary direction, and fitness progression are all assessed and aligned in every consultation. The Nutritionist and Fitness Coach support delivery, but the clinical direction across all three dimensions is led by the doctor.
  • You will work under the direct supervision and mentorship of Dr. Gagandeep Singh. Prior experience in metabolic disorders is preferred. Candidates with exposure to disease reversal as a clinical approach will be at a distinct advantage.

Patient Profile — Who You Will Work With

All patients at ReDial Clinic present with one or more of the following metabolic conditions. You will be expected to develop working clinical competence across this profile:

  • Type 2 Diabetes — including assessment of glycaemic control, medication review, and structured reversal protocols.
  • Hypertension — blood pressure management, medication tapering, and lifestyle-led normalisation.
  • Obesity — body composition, metabolic risk stratification, and intervention planning.
  • PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) — hormonal and metabolic dimensions, dietary and lifestyle intervention.
  • Dyslipidaemia — lipid panel interpretation and lifestyle-based management.
  • Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) — monitoring and reversal through metabolic intervention.
  • Metabolic Syndrome — multi-condition presentations requiring integrated clinical planning.

The common thread across all these conditions is insulin resistance. Our clinical model is built on understanding and reversing this root cause through structured nutrition, fitness, and medical intervention.

Key Result Areas (Kras)

Core Responsibilities

1 Patient Consultations & Reviews

  • Lead scheduled one-on-one patient consultations and progress reviews, covering medical status, dietary adherence, and fitness progression as a unified assessment.
  • Review blood work and metabolic markers at defined intervals; evaluate in the context of nutrition compliance and physical activity patterns.
  • Assess and direct lifestyle interventions in every follow-up — dietary modifications, activity levels, sleep, and stress factors are reviewed alongside clinical data.
  • Communicate findings, revised recommendations, and next steps to patients clearly and with clinical authority.
  • Identify patients not progressing as expected; determine whether the gap is medical, dietary, or fitness-related and direct corrective action accordingly.

2 Integrated Clinical Planning

  • Design and own the integrated patient plan covering medical interventions, dietary framework, and fitness protocol — with the Nutritionist and Fitness Coach executing under clinical direction.
  • Interpret lab reports, metabolic panels, body composition data, and lifestyle markers together as a composite clinical picture.
  • Prescribe and adjust dietary approaches — macronutrient targets, meal timing, therapeutic nutrition protocols — in alignment with the patient’s metabolic profile.
  • Direct fitness intensity and progression based on clinical status, medication load, and metabolic response.
  • Monitor and adjust medication alongside lifestyle interventions; tapering decisions are made in the context of dietary and fitness progress.

3 Clinical Documentation & Records

  • Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date patient records covering medical, dietary, and fitness dimensions on all designated platforms.
  • Document every consultation, review, and clinical interaction promptly — not at end of day.
  • Prepare periodic patient progress summaries for internal clinical team reviews.
  • Support case study and outcome documentation for clinical learning and research purposes.

4 Team Leadership — Nutritionist & Fitness Coach

  • Lead the service delivery team comprising the Nutritionist and Fitness Coach; both roles provide support under the doctor’s clinical direction.
  • Brief the Nutritionist and Fitness Coach on each patient’s clinical status, priorities, and revised targets after every consultation or review.
  • Hold weekly internal team reviews to align on patient progress, surface issues, and recalibrate plans across all three dimensions.
  • Serve as the clinical decision-maker when the Nutritionist or Fitness Coach flag patient concerns or need directional input.
  • Ensure that dietary and fitness plans are not operating in isolation — all three interventions must be coherent and clinically aligned at all times.

5 Learning & Development

  • Actively participate in training and clinical discussion sessions led by Dr. Gagandeep Singh.
  • Stay current on research in metabolic health, insulin resistance, lifestyle medicine, and disease reversal.
  • Bring observations and questions from patient interactions into team discussions.

Qualifications & Background Required

Preferred — Strong Advantage

  • MBBS from a recognized and accredited medical institution — mandatory and non-negotiable
  • Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or respective State Medical Council
  • Minimum 2 years of post-MBBS clinical experience, with preference for patient-facing work in Diabetes, Hypertension, Obesity, PCOS, or related metabolic conditions
  • Basic understanding of metabolic conditions: Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, PCOS, Obesity
  • Ability to read and interpret lab reports and basic clinical data independently
  • Strong communication skills — ability to explain clinical information to patients clearly and with empathy
  • Willingness to be trained in a structured, protocol-based clinical approach
  • Prior clinical exposure to or genuine interest in metabolic disorders, lifestyle medicine, or preventive medicine
  • Familiarity with metabolic reversal as a clinical approach — experience in reversal outcomes is a strong plus
  • Understanding of insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, and their clinical implications
  • Exposure to dietary interventions: low-carb nutrition, therapeutic fasting, metabolic nutrition frameworks
  • Experience with medication tapering or de-prescribing under clinical supervision
  • Comfort with digital tools for patient record management and clinical documentation
  • Mindset aligned with treating root causes rather than long-term symptomatic medication
  • A personal orientation toward fitness and nutrition — someone who applies these principles in their own life brings a depth of practical understanding that is difficult to teach
  • Formal certification in nutrition, sports nutrition, personal training, or fitness coaching is a strong differentiator and will be given significant weight

Skills & Competencies

Clinical

  • Working knowledge of metabolic disease pathophysiology — how lifestyle and diet influence disease trajectory
  • Ability to interpret blood work panels across metabolic, hormonal, hepatic, and nutritional markers
  • Sound grasp of pharmacological basics relevant to T2D, hypertension, and metabolic conditions

Communication & Patient Engagement

  • Ability to explain clinical findings and progress in simple, empowering, patient-friendly language
  • Skilled at managing patient expectations, building trust, and sustaining motivation across a multi-month programme
  • Strong active listening and motivational communication skills

Nutrition & Fitness Orientation

  • Working knowledge of clinical nutrition — macronutrient science, dietary protocols, and their direct impact on metabolic markers
  • Ability to review a patient’s dietary plan with meaningful input, not just defer entirely to the Nutritionist
  • Sufficient understanding of physical training and movement science to assess a patient’s fitness plan and direct the Fitness Coach with clinical context
  • A personal interest in fitness and nutrition — doctors who actively engage with these disciplines bring a level of applied understanding that significantly enhances patient direction and team leadership
  • Formal certification in nutrition or fitness is not required but will be considered a strong asset

Mindset & Values

  • Genuine curiosity about metabolic health and a willingness to go deep on the science
  • Openness to learning a clinical model that is different from conventional prescriptive medicine
  • Alignment with the belief that chronic metabolic disease is reversible — and that medications should be the exception, not the norm

What We Offer:

  • Direct mentorship under Dr. Gagandeep Singh — structured clinical training in metabolic reversal medicine from day one
  • Exposure to a patient population and clinical outcomes you will not encounter in a conventional hospital or OPD setting
  • A doctor-led service delivery model where you direct the Nutritionist and Fitness Coach — clinical ownership across all three dimensions of care
  • A structured, evidence-based clinical framework that you will be trained in and grow within
  • The opportunity to work at the frontier of one of India’s fastest-growing clinical disciplines — lifestyle and metabolic medicine

About Organization

ABOUT REDIAL CLINIC ReDial Clinic (Reversing Diabetes with Lifestyle Management) is one of India’s pioneering physician-led centres focused on reversing chronic metabolic diseases — not merely managing them. Founded by Dr. Gagandeep Singh, the clinic has helped over 1,000 patients achieve meaningful reversals across Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, Obesity, PCOS, Dyslipidaemia, and Fatty Liver through structured, evidence-based lifestyle interventions. Our approach treats root causes, not symptoms. Every patient is enrolled in the Doctor-Led Programme (DLP): a structured, outcome-driven reversal protocol where a Doctor, a Nutritionist, and a Fitness Coach work as a dedicated clinical triad — together, on every patient. We are building a clinical team that believes chronic metabolic disease is reversible — and is willing to learn and apply a rigorous, evidence-based framework to prove it.
