Manager - Purchase

·        Responsible for indirect category management and procurement activities for assigned different departments

·        Lead savings and contract negotiations within scope of responsibility. Lead and provide guidance to support team 

·        Manage end to end supply chain process for pharmaceutical, medical devices and medical equipment requirements

·        Serve as subject matter expert for drug procurement, medical devices and equipment and service providers related to pharmaceutical regulatory and donors’ requirements

·        Support in the development of processes to ensure compliance related to key supply chain requirements such as quality control, cold chain storage and distribution

·        Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand and track inventory levels’

·        Lead supplier selection

·        Develop good working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure early involvement in defining requirements, agreeing the procurement route and supplier negotiations.

·        Maintain relationships with various business functions across the organization including health unit, legal, and regional/country offices

·        On-time and successful completion of savings projects

·        Continuous improvement in supplier performance

·        Increased use of preferred suppliers across the business

·        Executes predefined purchasing processes, ensures adherence to policies and procedures

·        Proactively addresses and resolves routine variations within the defined process, including but not limited to issues related to quality, supplier performance, documentation, delivery, pricing, and/or invoicing

·        Perform data entry of purchase orders in enterprise application, including processing and filing of orders and agreements

·        Ensure compliance to corporate policies and procedures, corporate contracts and e-catalogues

·        Assist assigned departments in proper contract execution and related documentation

·        Support assigned departments efforts in budgeting, and spend reporting/assessment

·        Support timely resolution of supplier issues, including order execution and expediting

·        Follow-up with factory for goods despatch

·        Improve profitability by cost saving

·        Planning with no shortage of material for smooth production

·        Reduce raw material cost keeping the quality same

·        Vendor identification, database, evaluation and updation from time to time  

·        Adhering to government guidelines
