Description
- Provide leadership and direction to the patient care services team, including nurses, allied health staff, and administrative personnel, to ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
- Develop and implement strategic plans, goals, and objectives for patient care services that align with the organization's mission and strategic priorities.
- Oversee day-to-day clinical operations, including patient flow, staffing assignments, bed management, and resource allocation, to optimize patient care delivery and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care processes and outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and continuous learning among healthcare staff, promoting interdisciplinary communication and coordination of care.
- Provide clinical oversight and guidance to healthcare staff, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, standards of care, and best practices in patient assessment, treatment, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies related to patient care, safety, infection control, and quality assurance.
- Develop and maintain effective communication channels with patients, families, physicians, and other stakeholders to address concerns, provide updates, and promote transparency in patient care delivery.
