  • Leadership and Supervision:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff members during assigned shifts.
  • Coordinate with department heads to ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular rounds to assess the performance of staff and address any concerns promptly.
  • Emergency Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for emergencies and incidents during shifts.
  • Activate emergency response protocols as necessary and coordinate with relevant departments.
  • Ensure the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff during crisis situations.
  • Patient Care and Satisfaction:
  • Monitor patient flow and address any issues related to patient care or comfort.
  • Respond to patient inquiries, complaints, or requests for assistance in a timely and compassionate manner.
  • Collaborate with nursing and clinical staff to resolve patient care concerns and optimize service delivery.
  • Operational Oversight:
  • Manage bed allocation and patient placement to optimize occupancy and resource utilization.
  • Coordinate with support services such as housekeeping, maintenance, and security to maintain a clean, safe, and functional environment.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards related to hospital operations.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
  • Serve as a liaison between different departments to facilitate efficient communication and problem-solving.
  • Communicate relevant information to senior management and other stakeholders regarding operational issues, incidents, or notable events.
  • Participate in meetings, committees, and projects to contribute to the continuous improvement of hospital operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, business management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in healthcare management or supervisory roles, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
