  • Provide leadership and direction to the medical administration team, including hiring, training, performance management, and professional development of administrative staff.
  • Establish performance goals and expectations for administrative staff, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback and coaching to support staff development and performance improvement.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the medical administration department, including scheduling, task assignment, and workload management to ensure efficient and effective departmental functioning.
  • Coordinate administrative support services for clinical departments, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and facilitating communication with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Monitor departmental budget and expenditures, identify opportunities for cost containment and efficiency improvements, and develop strategies to optimize resource utilization and financial performance.
  • Review financial reports, analyze variances, and develop action plans to address budgetary issues and achieve financial goals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and organizational policies related to medical administration, patient privacy, and healthcare documentation.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and promote a culture of quality and safety in medical administration practices.
