Description

Team Management: Supervise and lead the maintenance team, assigning tasks, overseeing work schedules, and ensuring the team operates efficiently and effectively.
Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend asset life. Oversee corrective maintenance activities to address issues promptly.
Facility Oversight: Ensure the proper functioning of all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems, by conducting regular inspections and coordinating necessary repairs.
Budget Management: Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, monitoring expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities while ensuring quality maintenance services.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance within the maintenance department, ensuring all maintenance activities adhere to health and safety regulations.
Vendor Management: Liaise with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance services, negotiating contracts, and overseeing their performance to ensure service quality.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, and service history to track performance and support future maintenance planning.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and departmental metrics for management review, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
