Description

Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation, utilizing evidence-based practice guidelines and standards of care.
Serve as a role model and mentor for nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and clinical expertise to enhance their professional development and clinical competence.
Lead by example in promoting a positive work culture, fostering collaboration, and advocating for the highest standards of nursing practice and patient care.
Develop and deliver educational programs, training sessions, and continuing education opportunities for nursing staff to enhance their clinical skills, knowledge, and competency.
Facilitate orientation programs for new nursing hires and coordinate ongoing education initiatives to keep nursing staff updated on best practices and emerging trends in nursing care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, performance improvement projects, and clinical audits to identify opportunities for enhancing patient outcomes, improving nursing processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Analyse clinical data, monitor key performance indicators, and implement quality improvement interventions to address areas for improvement and promote patient safety and satisfaction.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, allied health professionals, and other healthcare providers, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans, ensure care coordination, and optimize patient outcomes.
Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and other departments to facilitate effective communication, interdisciplinary teamwork, and continuity of care.
