Job Description
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the labour room and ensure quality patient care.
- Allocate duties and prepare duty rosters for nursing and support staff.
- Ensure readiness of labour room equipment, emergency drugs, and supplies.
- Monitor fetal and maternal condition during labour and assist obstetricians during deliveries and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and hospital policies.
- Handle obstetric emergencies and ensure rapid response from medical teams.
