Job Description

  1. Assist in forensic sample processing and analysis.
  2. Collect, label, and preserve biological, chemical, and physical evidence.
  3. Perform routine lab tests under supervision (blood grouping, DNA prep, toxicology screening).
  4. Maintain chain of custody for all forensic evidence.
  5. Operate and maintain lab equipment used in forensic analysis.
  6. Document all observations, procedures, and test results accurately.
  7. Support forensic scientists during investigation & court proceedings.
  8. Ensure compliance with lab safety, quality control, and SOPs.
  9. Maintain inventory of reagents, consumables, and lab equipment.
  10. Assist in internal audits and accreditation processes.
  11. Report lab anomalies, discrepancies, or sample issues immediately.
