Description
- Receive, label, and prepare samples for analysis according to established protocols and procedures.
- Perform sample processing techniques such as centrifugation, pipetting, dilution, and extraction as required for different types of tests or experiments.
- Ensure proper storage and disposal of samples in compliance with safety regulations and laboratory protocols.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation, including microscopes, spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and automated analyzers.
- Calibrate instruments, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform routine maintenance to ensure proper functioning and accuracy of results.
- Document instrument performance, maintenance activities, and any deviations from standard operating procedures.
- Perform experimental procedures and record observations, measurements, and experimental data accurately and legibly.
- Analyze data using computer software or manual calculations, and prepare reports, graphs, and charts to summarize findings.
- Review and verify data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with quality assurance standards and protocols.
