Description
- Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures, including specimen collection, processing, analysis, and interpretation, following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, such as microscopes, centrifuges, spectrophotometers, and chromatography systems, ensuring proper calibration, performance, and safety.
- Prepare reagents, solutions, and media for laboratory experiments and tests, following established formulas, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and research studies under the supervision of senior scientists or researchers, collecting and analyzing data, and documenting experimental procedures and results.
- Perform quality control checks, calibrations, and validations of laboratory equipment and analytical methods to ensure accuracy, precision, and reliability of test results.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety regulations, including proper storage and disposal of hazardous materials and biohazardous waste.
- Assist in inventory management, ordering, and stocking of laboratory supplies, chemicals, and reagents, and maintaining inventory records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other laboratory staff, researchers, and project teams to support ongoing research projects, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to the achievement of project goals and milestones.
