Description

Proficiency in performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including sample collection, handling, processing, and analysis.
Knowledge of laboratory equipment operation and maintenance, such as microscopes, centrifuges, spectrophotometers, and automated analyzers.
Adherence to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents or exposure to hazardous materials.
Ability to follow quality control procedures and protocols to ensure accurate and reliable test results, including documentation and reporting of quality control data.
Ability to accurately analyze and interpret laboratory test results, recognizing abnormal or unexpected findings and troubleshooting technical issues as needed.
Attention to detail in specimen identification, labeling, and tracking to prevent errors and ensure sample integrity throughout the testing process.Proficiency in maintaining accurate and organized laboratory records, including test results, patient information, quality control data, and laboratory inventory.
Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems for data entry, retrieval, and reporting.
