Laboratory Management: Oversee the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring efficient workflow, adherence to safety standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Staff Supervision: Manage and supervise laboratory personnel, including technicians and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of work quality.
Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory tests and results, conducting regular audits and assessments.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and serviced regularly, troubleshooting any issues and coordinating repairs as necessary.
Test Protocols and Procedures: Develop, review, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for laboratory tests and processes, ensuring staff adherence to best practices.
Inventory Management: Manage laboratory supplies and inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are available, properly stored, and utilized efficiently while monitoring budget constraints.
