Description
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of laboratory personnel, including lab technicians, assistants, and researchers, to ensure smooth functioning of lab operations.
- Develop and implement lab protocols, procedures, and safety guidelines in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Monitor inventory levels of lab supplies, chemicals, and equipment, and coordinate procurement and maintenance activities as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, quality assurance protocols, and accreditation requirements applicable to the laboratory.
- Implement quality control measures, proficiency testing, and internal audits to maintain accuracy, reliability, and consistency of lab results.
- Address non-conformities, deviations, and corrective actions in collaboration with lab personnel and management.
- Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and repair of laboratory equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper functioning and accuracy of test results.
- Develop and maintain equipment maintenance schedules, documentation, and records of maintenance activities and service contracts.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve equipment-related problems.
