Description

Supervise and coordinate the activities of laboratory personnel, including lab technicians, assistants, and researchers, to ensure smooth functioning of lab operations.
Develop and implement lab protocols, procedures, and safety guidelines in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Monitor inventory levels of lab supplies, chemicals, and equipment, and coordinate procurement and maintenance activities as needed.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, quality assurance protocols, and accreditation requirements applicable to the laboratory.
Implement quality control measures, proficiency testing, and internal audits to maintain accuracy, reliability, and consistency of lab results.
Address non-conformities, deviations, and corrective actions in collaboration with lab personnel and management.
Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and repair of laboratory equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper functioning and accuracy of test results.
Develop and maintain equipment maintenance schedules, documentation, and records of maintenance activities and service contracts.
Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve equipment-related problems.
