Job Description
- Assist technicians/scientists in biotechnology laboratory work.
- Support in sample receipt, preparation & processing.
- Help in molecular testing procedures (PCR, electrophoresis – as trained).
- Prepare reagents, buffers & culture media.
- Clean, sterilize & arrange glassware and lab instruments.
- Maintain lab cleanliness & contamination control.
- Follow biosafety, infection control & PPE protocols.
- Maintain lab registers, logs & documentation.
- Assist in inventory management of reagents & consumables.
- Support in quality control & routine checks.
- Ensure proper waste segregation & disposal.
- Report any errors, spills or equipment issues to seniors.
