Description
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of senior medical staff, attending physicians, and consultants in various clinical settings, including inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, and emergency departments.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations, to formulate differential diagnoses and develop treatment plans.
- Participate in medical rounds, case presentations, and multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases, review treatment plans, and collaborate on patient care management.
- Perform medical procedures and interventions as required, including venipuncture, wound care, catheterization, and basic life support measures, following established protocols and standards of practice.
- Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and interpret laboratory results under the supervision of attending physicians, ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and patient safety protocols.
- Monitor patient progress, assess treatment responses, and communicate changes in patient status to supervising physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members.
- Provide patient education and counseling on disease management, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and preventive healthcare measures to promote patient understanding and self-care.
