Description

Provide direct patient care services to hospitalized patients under the supervision and guidance of senior physicians and attending physicians.
Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and assessments of patients, including history taking, physical examination, and interpretation of diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
Develop and implement patient treatment plans in collaboration with senior physicians, including medication management, monitoring of vital signs, laboratory tests, and diagnostic procedures.
Perform medical procedures and interventions as required, including venipuncture, intravenous (IV) line placement, urinary catheterization, wound care, and other basic medical procedures under supervision.
Monitor and assess patient progress and response to treatment, identify and report changes in patient condition or clinical status, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient care updates and management plans.
Provide patient education and counseling on medical conditions, treatment options, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and preventive health measures to promote patient understanding and involvement in their care.
Assist in the coordination of patient care activities, including scheduling of diagnostic tests, consultations with specialists, and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
Participate in clinical rounds, case presentations, and interdisciplinary meetings with healthcare teams to discuss patient cases, review treatment plans, and collaborate on patient care strategies.
