Junior Embryologist

** MANDATORY M.Sc. CLINICAL EMBRYOLOGY DEGREE NEEDED **

• To provide expertise in all operational aspects for the Embryology Lab and help in delivery of lab objectives.
• To search for oocytes during follicular puncture and perform various assisted reproduction techniques (IVF and ICSI).
• To evaluate quality of embryos to achieve optimum embryo development in the best possible conditions.
• To freeze and thaw embryos with highest survival rates.
• To complete ART final report on each cycle for each patient and inform patients with Consultants of outcomes.
• To perform biopsies in cases where these are necessary.
• To control and perform diagnosis and preparation of infectious and non-infectious semen samples from patients.
• To process and freeze samples of spermatozoa extracted from the testicles and/or epididymis.
• To prepare culture media.
• To monitor functioning & quality of equipment to maximize its performance.
• To manage stock control & place orders for culture media and disposables and consumption.
• To clean and sterilize material used in laboratory, such as test tube racks, automatic pipettes, incubators.
