<ul><li>Provide specialized care for newborns, particularly premature or critically ill infants, in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs).</li><li>Diagnose and manage medical conditions in newborns, such as respiratory distress, infections, and congenital abnormalities.</li><li>Perform life-saving interventions, including intubation, ventilation, and resuscitation, as needed.</li><li>Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each infant's medical needs.</li><li>Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive neonatal care.</li><li>Monitor and manage nutritional and developmental needs of newborns during their hospital stay.</li><li>Communicate with families, providing emotional support, education, and updates on the infant's condition.</li><li>Oversee the transition of care for newborns from the NICU to home or other medical facilities.</li></ul>
