Description

  • Provide expert clinical care to patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, and congenital heart defects.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations.
  • Provide leadership and clinical oversight within the cardiology department, including supervision of junior physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes, patient safety, and the overall patient experience.
  • Contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals through didactic lectures, bedside teaching, case-based discussions, and simulation exercises.
  • Develop and oversee educational curriculum content in cardiology, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards, best practices, and emerging trends in medical education.
  • Conduct original research in cardiovascular medicine, focusing on clinical outcomes, translational science, quality improvement, and healthcare delivery innovations.
  • Design and execute research studies, including clinical trials, observational analyses, and outcomes research projects, in collaboration with multidisciplinary research teams.
