Description
- Conduct initial patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and functional evaluations, to identify impairments, limitations, and treatment goals.
- Assist senior physiotherapists in developing individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments, evidence-based practice guidelines, and patient preferences.
- Implement therapeutic interventions and modalities as prescribed by senior physiotherapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, and heat/cold therapy.
- Provide hands-on assistance and guidance to patients during therapeutic exercises and activities, ensuring proper technique, safety, and effectiveness.
- Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention, home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and self-management strategies to promote independence and facilitate recovery.
- Monitor patient progress, functional improvements, and treatment outcomes, documenting observations, interventions, and outcomes accurately in patient records.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and in-service training sessions to discuss patient progress, treatment plans, and interdisciplinary collaboration opportunities.
