Description

Assess, diagnose, and treat critically ill patients, including those with multi-system organ failure, trauma, and severe medical conditions.
Monitor and manage patients’ vital signs, laboratory results, and response to treatment.
Provide and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and clinical findings.
Assist in or perform critical care procedures, such as intubation, central line placement, and chest tube insertion, under the supervision of senior consultants.
Ensure the safe and effective use of medical equipment and technology in the ICU.
Participate in daily rounds with the senior consulting team to review patient cases, discuss treatment plans, and update care strategies.
Communicate effectively with patients’ families about treatment plans, progress, and potential outcomes.
Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists, to provide comprehensive care.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address complex patient needs and improve care delivery.
