Description

Assist in preparing the catheterization lab (Cath Lab) for procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready and sterile.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, fluoroscopes, and angiography machines, under the supervision of senior staff.
Support cardiologists and medical teams during invasive procedures, such as angiograms, stent placements, and pacemaker insertions.
Monitor patient vital signs during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Assist in preparing patients for procedures, explaining the process, and positioning them correctly for imaging.
Maintain and calibrate Cath Lab equipment to ensure optimal functionality and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Document and maintain accurate records of procedures, including patient details, equipment settings, and any complications.
Follow strict infection control and safety protocols, ensuring all instruments are sterilized and properly disposed of.
Collaborate with nursing and medical teams to ensure smooth coordination during procedures and patient recovery.
Stay updated on the latest Cath Lab technologies, procedures, and industry standards through ongoing training and education.
