Description

Provide comprehensive counseling services to individuals and couples undergoing fertility treatments, including pre-treatment counseling, emotional support, and coping strategies throughout the IVF journey.
Conduct psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients' emotional, psychological, and social well-being, identify factors contributing to infertility-related distress, and develop personalized counseling plans and interventions.
Offer empathetic support and validation to patients experiencing infertility-related stress, grief, anxiety, or depression, and help them explore their feelings, thoughts, and concerns in a safe and supportive environment.
Educate patients about fertility treatments, IVF procedures, medication protocols, potential risks and benefits, and alternative family-building options, ensuring they have accurate information to make informed decisions about their fertility care.
Collaborate closely with fertility specialists, reproductive endocrinologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, address psychosocial needs, and ensure holistic support throughout the IVF treatment process.
Facilitate support groups, educational workshops, and counseling sessions for individuals and couples undergoing fertility treatments, providing a platform for peer support, information sharing, and coping skill development.
Conduct crisis intervention and provide emotional support to patients experiencing IVF treatment failures, pregnancy loss, or other unexpected outcomes, guiding them through grief, disappointment, and decision-making processes.
Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of counseling sessions, patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with confidentiality regulations and healthcare documentation standards.
