Description
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users via phone, email, chat, or in person, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and resolving technical problems in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware components, including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals, ensuring proper functionality and performance.
- Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot software applications, operating systems, and productivity tools, including Microsoft Office, antivirus programs, and specialized software used by the organization.
- Perform hardware and software installations, upgrades, patches, and updates according to established procedures, schedules, and best practices to ensure system security and reliability.
- Assist with IT projects, including hardware/software deployments, network upgrades, system migrations, and technology initiatives, under the direction of the IT Manager or project lead.
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities, such as system updates, disk cleanup, and performance optimization, to keep IT systems running smoothly and minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, wireless access problems, and VPN connectivity issues, diagnose network problems, and escalate complex issues to network administrators or third-party vendors as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, inventory, software licenses, service contracts, and technical documentation, including equipment configurations, network diagrams, and user manuals.
