Description

  • Patient Admission Management: Coordinate the admission process for inpatients, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed, and patients are assigned to appropriate wards or rooms.
  • Interdepartmental Communication: Serve as a liaison between the inpatient department and other departments (such as nursing, pharmacy, and radiology) to facilitate seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Patient Care Coordination: Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans, ensuring that all necessary services, treatments, and consultations are scheduled and provided in a timely manner.
  • Discharge Planning: Manage the discharge process for inpatients, ensuring that patients receive appropriate follow-up care instructions, prescriptions, and referrals to outpatient services as needed.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and policies regarding confidentiality and data protection.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of inpatient services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
