Interventional Cardiologist

Mukat Hospital and Heart Institute is a premier and pioneer institution in Cardiac Sciences in Tricity. We are looking for a FULL TIME Interventional Cardiologist for our hospital.

Skills: Should be able to do core Cardiology procedures independently. Procedures commonly done at our centre are:

• Perform PTCA to open blocked coronary arteries using balloon catheters.
• Conduct complex PCIs to treat challenging coronary blockages, such as chronic total occlusions and bifurcation lesions.
• Insert permanent pacemakers to regulate abnormal heart rhythms.
• Implement temporary pacemakers for short-term cardiac pacing needs.
• Perform balloon mitral valvuloplasty to treat mitral valve stenosis and improve blood flow.
• Implant AICDs to monitor and correct life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Place biventricular pacemakers to synchronize ventricle contractions in heart failure patients.
• Conduct peripheral angioplasty to open blocked arteries in the limbs or organs.
• Perform carotid angioplasty to treat carotid artery stenosis and prevent strokes.
• Carry out electrophysiology studies to diagnose arrhythmias.
• Perform radiofrequency ablation to treat arrhythmias by destroying abnormal heart tissue.
• Use rotational atherectomy to remove calcified plaque from coronary arteries for improved angioplasty outcomes.
• Perform ASD device closure to fix holes between the heart's upper chambers using minimally invasive techniques.
• Conduct VSD device closure to repair holes between the heart's lower chambers using catheter-based devices.
