Description

Provide specialized care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU), monitoring their health conditions closely.
Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with life-threatening conditions such as respiratory failure, sepsis, and multi-organ dysfunction.
Manage complex medical equipment like ventilators, dialysis machines, and monitoring systems to support patient recovery.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, cardiologists, nurses, and respiratory therapists, to plan and execute patient care.
Administer and adjust medications, fluids, and nutritional support based on patients' needs and response to treatment.
Conduct regular rounds to assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and ensure adherence to medical protocols.
Provide support for patients and families, explaining treatment options, risks, and recovery expectations in a compassionate manner.
Stay updated with the latest advances in critical care medicine to implement the most effective treatment strategies.
Supervise and guide ICU nursing staff in delivering optimal care while ensuring safety and comfort for patients.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment protocols, medications, and outcomes, in compliance with hospital policies.
