Description

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit.
  • Monitor and manage acute and chronic conditions, including respiratory failure, sepsis, shock, and other critical illnesses.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic procedures relevant to critical care, including intubation, central venous catheter placement, and bronchoscopy.
  • Utilize advanced monitoring techniques to assess and manage patient status.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and consultants, to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear explanations of medical conditions and treatment plans.
  • Provide clinical leadership within the intensive care unit, guiding the medical team in the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines.
  • Participate in the education and training of medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in critical care medicine through continuous learning and professional development.
