Description

Design, develop, and maintain instrumentation and control systems used to monitor and control industrial processes.
Oversee the installation, calibration, and commissioning of new instrumentation equipment, ensuring it meets technical specifications and safety standards.
Perform system analysis and troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving issues with instrumentation systems, sensors, and control devices.
Work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure that instrumentation systems are integrated effectively into overall process control systems.
Develop and update technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, system schematics, and user manuals.
Monitor the performance of instrumentation systems, providing recommendations for optimization and improvements in efficiency, safety, and reliability.
Implement preventive maintenance plans and procedures for instrumentation equipment to minimize downtime and reduce failures.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements in all instrumentation activities.
Provide technical support and training to junior staff and other departments on the use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems.
