Description
- Design instrumentation systems for measuring and controlling parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, level, and density.
- Develop instrumentation layouts, wiring diagrams, and specifications based on project requirements and engineering standards.
- Select suitable sensors, transmitters, controllers, and actuators for specific applications, considering factors such as accuracy, reliability, and environmental conditions.
- Oversee the installation, wiring, and commissioning of instrumentation systems in industrial facilities, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and safety regulations.
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurements, and verify proper functioning of control systems during commissioning.
- Program and configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), DCS (Distributed Control Systems), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, and other control devices to monitor and regulate process parameters.
- Develop control strategies, implement control algorithms, and optimize control loops to achieve desired process performance.
