Description

Oversee the installation, calibration, and maintenance of all instruments and equipment used in the facility, ensuring they are operating at optimal levels.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure minimal downtime and extend the lifespan of instruments.
Lead and manage a team of instrument technicians and ensure they are trained in the proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instruments.
Monitor the performance of instruments, identify issues, and troubleshoot any faults to ensure continuous and efficient operations.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols related to instrument operation and maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of all instrument calibration, repair, and maintenance activities for compliance and future reference.
Work with vendors and suppliers to procure and manage inventory of spare parts and equipment required for instrument maintenance.
Collaborate with other departments such as quality control, production, and engineering to ensure instruments meet operational requirements.
Prepare and manage budgets for instrument-related activities, ensuring cost-effective solutions for equipment maintenance and upgrades.
Stay current with advancements in technology and industry trends, ensuring the adoption of innovative solutions and continuous improvement in instrumentation systems.
