Infrastructure (H/W) Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Providing technical support for hardware issues
• Testing hardware components individually and in tandem with external computer systems
• Collaborating with software developers to ensure the hardware functions for its intended purpose
• Working with vendors and hardware suppliers to implement new/repair devices
• Troubleshooting and debugging performance issues
• Performing tests of new hardware and software
• Creating technical reports for customers
• Analyse user and client requirements
• Ability to see potential problems in a system setup
• Need to have excellent writing skills as documentation is one of their main tasks
• Gain continuous knowledge of how the system can be made better, efficient and faster, producing higher and better results
• Hands on with all kind of standard IT device ie. desktop, laptop, printer, switch, AP, biometric, cctv, networking etc.

Desired Candidate Profile :

Experience - 4 to 5 years of experience in hardware & networking

Qualification - Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering or related field

Other skill sets :

• Familiarity with a wide range of hardware devices
• Strong understanding of embedded software development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
