Job Description
- Implement and monitor infection prevention and control policies in the hospital.
- Conduct surveillance of hospital-acquired infections (HAIs).
- Ensure compliance with hand hygiene, PPE, and isolation protocols.
- Perform regular audits of wards, OT, ICU, and support areas.
- Monitor sterilization, disinfection, and biomedical waste practices.
- Investigate infection outbreaks and recommend corrective actions.
- Train healthcare staff on infection control practices and guidelines.
- Maintain records, reports, and infection control data.
- Coordinate with microbiology, nursing, and housekeeping teams.
