Job Description
- Implement and monitor hospital infection control policies & procedures.
- Conduct surveillance of HAIs and report trends regularly.
- Perform infection control audits across all clinical areas.
- Train healthcare staff on IPC practices, hand hygiene & PPE usage.
- Ensure compliance with NABH infection control standards.
- Coordinate with HICC, microbiology & clinical teams.
- Monitor sterilization, disinfection & biomedical waste processes.
- Investigate infection outbreaks and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain infection control records, reports & documentation.
