Description

Implement and enforce infection control protocols for hand hygiene, personal protective equipment (PPE), sterilization, and disinfection of medical equipment and surfaces.
Ensure proper isolation practices for patients with contagious diseases and review compliance with isolation protocols.
Develop and update infection control policies based on the latest research and government health regulations.
Provide regular training sessions and workshops for hospital staff (doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals) on infection prevention, control practices, and proper use of PPE.
Educate patients and families on infection prevention practices, including proper hygiene and care of wounds.
Assist in preparing educational materials, posters, and other resources to raise awareness of infection control measures.
Maintain accurate records of infection surveillance data, patient cases, and staff compliance with infection control practices.
Generate monthly or quarterly infection reports and present them to senior management, infection control committees, and regulatory bodies.
Document any outbreaks of infections and coordinate outbreak control measures.
