Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Set up and maintain ICU equipment such as ventilators, defibrillators, ECG machines, and infusion pumps.
Patient Monitoring: Continuously monitor vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and respiratory patterns, ensuring timely intervention when required.
Assisting with Procedures: Assist doctors and nurses in ICU procedures, such as intubation, central line insertion, and other life-saving treatments.
Emergency Response: Respond quickly in emergency situations, providing necessary support for resuscitation, administering oxygen, or assisting with CPR.
Data Recording: Accurately document patient information, equipment settings, and vital sign trends to assist in treatment planning.
Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment in the ICU, ensuring patient safety.
Equipment Calibration: Regularly check, calibrate, and troubleshoot ICU medical equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Patient Comfort: Assist in patient positioning, provide comfort measures, and support patients’ physical and emotional well-being in the ICU.
Collaboration: Work closely with ICU doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and effective care.
