Job Description
- Provide 24/7 nursing care for patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
- Monitor vital signs, ECG, oxygen levels, and other critical parameters.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and emergency drugs as prescribed.
- Operate and manage ventilators, infusion pumps, dialysis machines, and other ICU equipment.
- Assist doctors in procedures, intubation, central line insertion, and emergency interventions.
- Maintain strict infection control and aseptic techniques.
- Prepare and maintain accurate nursing records and charts.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and life-threatening situations.
- Ensure availability of medical supplies and equipment readiness in ICU.
- Participate in training, audits, and continuous education programs.
