Description

Conduct thorough initial and ongoing assessments of critically ill patients, including monitoring vital signs, neurological status, and overall clinical condition.
Administer and monitor the effects of advanced medical interventions, including ventilator management, vasopressor support, and hemodynamic monitoring.
Administer and titrate medications according to the patient's condition, including vasoactive drugs, sedatives, and analgesics.
Work collaboratively with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Apply critical thinking skills to assess and respond to changes in patient status promptly.
Provide emotional support and education to patients' families, keeping them informed about the patient's condition, treatment plan, and potential outcomes.
Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including performing life-saving interventions such as CPR.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting assessments, interventions, and changes in patient status.
Assess and manage pain in critically ill patients, adjusting pain management strategies as needed.
