Description

Patient Care Management: Provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including monitoring vital signs, managing life-support equipment, and administering medications.
Emergency Response: Respond quickly to medical emergencies within the ICU, performing resuscitation, intubation, and other life-saving procedures as needed.
Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, diagnostic results, and the collaboration with consultants and specialists.
Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor patients' conditions, adjust treatment plans accordingly, and report any significant changes to the senior medical staff or consultants.
Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work closely with nurses, specialists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for ICU patients.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of all ICU patients, including treatment plans, medications administered, and progress notes in compliance with hospital policies.
Patient and Family Communication: Communicate with patients' families to explain their condition, prognosis, and treatment options, providing emotional support and guidance when needed.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical protocols, and safety standards, including infection control measures, to maintain a safe ICU environment.
