Description

  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to ICU staff, including nurses, respiratory therapists, and support personnel, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices, policies, and protocols.
  • Coordinate patient care activities, interdisciplinary rounds, and patient handoffs to promote continuity of care and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with attending physicians, consultants, and specialists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for critically ill patients, incorporating best practices and patient preferences.
  • Monitor patient acuity, bed assignments, and staffing levels to maintain appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios and ensure safe patient care delivery.
