Description

To supervision over housekeeping contractors / workers to ensure better service and statutory norms.
Establish standard and work procedur for the house keeping staff in accordance with establish policies of the Hospital.
Motivate team members and resolve any issue that occur on the job
Plan work schedules and assigns hours, and areas of work schedules work to ensure adequate service for all areas of the hospital.
Inspect and evaluate physical condition of the Hospital, Recommend painting repairs, furnishing, Re-furnishing and Relocation of equipment's.
Reallocation of space to improve sanitation appearance and efficiency.
To ensure garbage and Bio medical waste and disposed the same as per the guidelines and instructions.
Ensure pest control measures and Exterminate files, cockroaches and mosquitoes
Contracting pest control services, Faade cleaning & other HK services
Economical use of housekeeping supplies.
Propose ways and means to reduce the expenditure on expendables.
Interact with members of other departments to coordinate housekeeping activities. And serve on infection control committee and on other committees as required.
Total supervision over housekeeping contractors / workers to ensure better service and statutory norms.
Ensure efficient maintenance of housekeeping equipment to keep them in working condition.
To manage laundry operations: - Ensure smooth distribution of washed linen & uniforms and timely collection of soiled Linen & Uniforms form various areas.
