Job Description

1. Lead and supervise the hospital billing team (OPD/IPD).
2. Ensure accurate and timely billing as per hospital tariffs and packages.
3. Handle insurance & TPA cashless and reimbursement claims.
4. Coordinate with clinical departments for discharge clearance.
5. Resolve billing discrepancies, escalations, and patient queries.
6. Monitor billing errors, revenue leakage, and corrective actions.
7. Maintain compliance with NABH and hospital billing SOPs.
8. Prepare and review daily/monthly MIS and revenue reports.
9. Train billing staff on billing rules, packages, and software.
10. Coordinate with finance, TPA desk, and front office.
11. Support internal and external billing audits.
