Description

Manage day-to-day accounting functions within the hospital, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll processing, and financial reporting.
Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with accounting principles, GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and healthcare industry regulations in all financial transactions and reporting activities.
Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide timely and accurate financial information to management and stakeholders.
Monitor and analyse key financial performance indicators, such as revenue, expenses, and profitability, and identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Conduct cost analysis and financial modeling to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of hospital services, analyze reimbursement rates, and support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with departmental managers and stakeholders to develop and manage departmental budgets, track expenditures, and ensure compliance with budgetary goals and financial targets.
Prepare and submit financial reports and regulatory filings required by government agencies, accrediting bodies, and third-party payers, ensuring timely compliance and accurate reporting.
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard hospital assets, prevent fraud, and ensure the integrity of financial data.
